This is s tightly cropped image of a lion photographed while driving through the African Lion Safari near Hamilton Ontario. He sat high on a rock ledge and the confidence of his expression captured my interest. It was shot from the car using a Nikon D800 camera and a Sigma 150-500 lens at ISO 1250, f/6.3, 1/1600 sec. The image was converted to black/white using onOne software and further post-processed in Adobe Photoshop CS5.
