This image was found just after sunset on the east side of the Blue Ridge Mountains, near Criglersville, VA. A few miles of driving along a continuous cascade lead us to a single lane bridge, the perfect spot for a tripod. The photo is a direct from the camera capture with no post processing.
Exposure was at f/22 for the depth of field and a 30-second shutter time was used to create the ethereal, almost neon effect in the cascade.
