I’ve heard it said that the eastern side of Lake Tahoe, CA offers some of the most beautiful views of boulders, the lake and Sierra Nevada mountain range. I believe it! I spent several hours sitting on this rocky shore taking it all in and throughly enjoyed all the drama from the sunset light as it bounced off the beautiful landscape. It was such a peaceful evening.

I photographed this image using a Canon 5D MK III, a f2.8 16-35 mm Canon zoom lens and ND8 filter. This exposure was 25 seconds long. I processed it using Lightroom 5 by minimally adjusting clarity, contrast, sharpness and light.
