Using an Olympus C750UZ, Eva Gryk photographed the Athabasca Glacier while traveling on the Columbia Icefield Parkway in the Canadian Rockies. Eva captured a unique view of the glacier and not the typical postcard image everyone is familiar with. In this picture the snow coaches that transport passengers over the ice and snow, as well as the people walking on the glacier demonstrate an amazing sense of scale as to how big the glacier really is. Exposure was F5, 1/500sec at ISO 50.
