I love catching birds on the wing, and there was a lot of action during mating season for these Royal Terns on Jekyll Island, Georgia. The males go out and catch a fish, then bring it in and offer it to the female they’re courting. If she likes the fish and the guy, the gift is accepted and they go off to make babies.
