Snow Covered Sierra Mountains. After a heavy winter storm, I drove to a spot overlooking the Truckee river, outside Tahoe City, trekked through knee deep snow to capture this early morning vista. Photographed with a Canon 5D Mark II, EF 24-105 MM, ISO 200 and the exposure was 1/8 sec at f/16. Edited in Photomatrix Pro 5.0 and Photoshop CS6. Mark Oplatka
