Mary Keitany (32) of Kenya was getting ready to pass Jemima Jelagat Sumgong (29), also of Kenya, near the 25th-mile mark (1 mile) before the finish line at the 2014 New York City Marathon. Keitany would end up winning the women's race and Sumgong came in second.
