My name is George Shearer. I took this image of a lone statue in the Korean War memorial on the Mall in Washington, D.C. I converted a color image to Black and White for a more dramatic Impact.

A Nikon D-80 camera with a Sigma DC 18-125, 3.5-5.6 D lens set at F/5.6 and 1/400 sec. with an ISO of 200. Focal length was 112 mm.

I worked the image in Adobe Elements 9 and 12 to get the final result.
