Funny how I end up with photos like this one. Once again, walking along with my 100-400mm lens, looking for wildlife, and animals but not finding much. Walking along near Pier 39 in San Francisco, on the way to photograph those famous seals, I found several large groups of tulips in the planters. I tried a few closeup shots with my 100-400mm lens, and ended up with this favorite. Who said you need a macro lens to photograph flowers? c. isabel c. rodriguez
