I was in Barcelona when the anti-government demonstrations spread there from Madrid, and I followed the crowd to the Plaza de Catalunya. Police had surrounded the plaza; people could leave but no one else could enter. The atmosphere was, however, more like a pep rally than a protest; the police were not angry with the protesters, nor were the protesters angry with the police. The protest leaders started the "hands up" movement much like the "wave" at a football game. Obviously this was not a situation where I could make a panorama with several shots, but I made multiple photos expecting to crop them to this view.
