There is a group of cormorants that regularly fish less than a half mile from my house in Seminole, FL. Over time, I have gained their trust and they will allow me within touching distance and will even turn their backs on me when I am close enough to touch them. Needless to say, I use that relationship to get some great Kodak moments! AAMOF, one of the shots I took of this particular guy went Best of Show at the 31st annual Boyd Hill Nature Preserve photo contest, so I have gotten some great fun and mileage out of these wonderful birds!
