I when I first saw this bird, it was sitting in the shade perched in a tree. It looked like an interesting bird, but appeared to have no color - it looked black. It then suddenly decided to sun itself and when it emerged into the sun and spread its wings, it wound up being probably the most colorful bird I have ever seen. It's a purple-crested turaco.
