This photo, at the Santiam Pass in Oregon, was taken a year after a devastating forest fire. It depicts both dead vegetation and extremely colorful regeneration. It was taken with a Nikon D 300, Nikkor Zoom lns, and Hoya Circular Polarizer. The ISO was 200, F/32, and a 1/6th second exposure. The camera was mounted to a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head.
