We were taking a motorcycle tour with friends and wound up passing through Jackson Hole, Wyoming when a tremendous lightening storm hit. As we were getting gas the monitors warned everyone to take cover. We got out of town quickly and stopped at a deli/bar for cover and dinner. As we were eating we noticed smoke rolling down the valley. The storm quit and we headed to our destination for the night. On the way I took this photo of the smoke covered sun turning the world around us an eerie orange. In the morning our motorcycles were covered in ash, but the rain put the fire out--thank goodness.
Photo was taken as were riding.
