I took this image of a tree next to the Virgin River in Zion National Park, Utah during a winter night with a nearly full moon. At night, with the moon, the cliffs are lit up as beautifully as they are in the daylight. I didn't like how the image looked in color but was really quite pleased after a quick b/w conversion.

Gear: Canon Eos 6D, 24-105mm F/4L IS USM, Acratech Ball Head, Enduro Carbon Fiber Tripod, Cable Release, L Bracket

Esposure: 24mm @ f/8 for 30 seconds - ISO 2000

Retouching: Lightroom 5, I converted to b/w, then bumped up the highlights and the whites and gave it a small vignette - get it right in the camera and you don't have to do much.
