New York Winternacht- Central Park at nightfall is a beauty, and Central Park at wintery night is always a paragon of the world!
I had family- A&M, visiting from Germany, and on their departure day afternoon, 12/14/2013, I gave them a call to warn them to leave ahead of time for the airport, for there was a snow storm descending on the city. But A & M were having a blast after all- they said contrary to popular belief, not every part of Germany has snow falling at rates worth a major joy. I left work at 6PM and halfway to the 53rd street E subway line I made a turn and started to head towards Central Park. Snowfall was already substantial and I said- let me take a photo of New York at its snow ready and email it to A&M- by the time they land, they would have the snowy sendoff they left behind arrived ahead of them. I had no else but to jack up the ISO to 2500 and take this Winternacht shot! It was a blizzard that was over by the next turn of the world, but I still have to take a leave from the turn I saw this path appareled in the snow!
