I got up real early in the morning to head out toward the White Rocks in the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. My friend had told me that the moisture from the fog had frozen to the trees on the top part of the mountain chain and that I should come check it out. On my way out toward the White Rocks on route 58 in SW Virginia I noticed this barn off the side of the road. I instantly loved the look of the barn and you could see the frozen mountain tops along the ridgeline. I turned the car around and pulled over, I grabbed my camera and put a CPL filter on to help with the sky. The rural areas in Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky are some of my favorite places to roam, there is so much beauty around.
