This small stand of cottonwoods in Yosemite's Ahwahnee Meadow had always intrigued me but I couldn't make it work till this cold day in December when things finally came together.

This photo does prove that IT IS all about the light- where it hits and how it hits.
Beautiful job of using light without blacking out the shadows!!!
