I took this photo a few days after a winter snowstorm in Maine. My husband and I had fun trekking through the snow and sand on the beach, sinking knee deep at times, with water licking at our boots as the waves unexpectedly came rolling in on us. With this shot, I wanted to capture the leading lines of the posts with the shoreline in the distance.

I used a Nikon D3200 camera with a Tamron 18-270mm lens @ 30mm. Settings: f/16, 1/125 sec. ISO-100. Photo by: Marjorie Stevenson
