The wild ponies of Assateague Island at Assateague State Park. On this hot summer day there were quite a few bands of horses on the beach, trying to escape the heat. These two stallions were a little pumped up with so many other stallions & thier bands so close by. Although these animals are absolutely breathtaking to see & watch, the pinto stallion on the left had me mesmerized with his ice blue eyes!
