An incredible place to simply immerse yourself in nature.
The Nuns beach in Ballybunion County Kerry is famous for its sclusion and secrecy. Only the locals know which route to take down the steep cliffside before the ever joyous 30ft abseil using a rope that has been there since day 1. The unique views of The Iconic Virgin Rock are tantalising. Only achieveable on low tide, the hidden cove opens into a labyrinth of small caves and crevasses as well as being able to hug the coastline to get to the stacks...40ft natural diving platforms.
This is an image taken on a recent venture and trip down memory lane. Intense fast moving vivid clouds blowing in from a strong southerly system from the Atlantic. I spent most of my time in that light shooting long exposures...but just had to stop and really appreciate the moment.
