This is a window at Mission San Juan Capistrano in California. I was struck by the effect created by the shadow thrown by a palm tree nearby. The shadow made me think of a dark presence emanating from the mission. Shot with a canon A-1 on Ektachrome and scanned so exposure data is not available. I used NIK Color Effects to emphasize the building texture.
