Located in the North Coyote Buttes Wilderness Area on the Utah/Arizona border, "The Wave" is a world famous sandstone formation reached after a three mile scramble across slickrock sandstone, deep sand, and aggressive cactus. Only twenty visitors per day are allowed to venture out across the unmarked route.
