I was walking the trail at Elkmont in the Smoky's, which is a popular place in the Smoky's. Elkmont is known for the abandoned houses the elite from Knoxville, TN use to own. This was their summer get-a-way.The house are on the left and right of this shot, this is the road that leads down what use to be a subdivision. Now they set rotting away in the Smoky's and nature has started reclaiming, the road remains solely because of the day hikers looking to visit these old relics.
