In September 2016, my wife and I travelled to Vienna. On the last day of the trip, showers arrived late in the day. After the rain, I wanted to take advantage of the contrast caused by the late afternoon light and the storm clouds and headed to the Volksgarten, which was near the hotel. I saw the couple fending off the last of the rain walking through the rose garden in the park and toward the palace gate and framed the shot as the sun shined off the roofs in the background.
