Italy is famous for its cars, and people who adore cars. While on a trip that prominently included Florence, the Piazza della Repubblica was rather suddenly cordoned off in honor of an auto parade of sorts--a moving exposition of wonderful and often historic cars. This vintage jag is a well-known star and worth millions. throngs of people lined the barriers to admire the offerings of the day. these events are not rare in Italy.
