The hills between Napa and Sonoma valleys contain vineyards that 'go with the flow' of the land. The 'manicured' rows of grape-vines then create interesting shapes and textures, while providing an augmented 3-dimensional texture to the hills. I thought that the immaturity of the vines actually helped emphasize the geometry, as if drawn over the tan soil parchment.
