It's been pointed out to me by an astronomer that, based on the direction and time, the bright object in this picture is actually Jupiter-Gemini, not Venus.

A 30 sec exposure at f/4, ISO 1600 taken at a little past 5 AM shooting North to Northwest. Venus is brightly lit between the saw palmettos. Long exposure and distant city lights gave the clouds a nice orange, wispy glow. Foreground palms light painted w/ a small LED flashlight.
