Venic Dancer in Flight

This remarkable moment occurred in St. Marks Square during high tide (water in the square). The dancer was trying to get a memorable picture with the help of a friend trying her best with a point and shoot and its nasty shutter delay. I simply dropped to my knees while she repeated several of these jumps. This shot was free of posts, lights, etc. in bad places, and at the peak of the jump.

I never got the chance to exchange information so as to send her this image, as they disappeared hurriedly into the city.
