This rose photo was made rather late in the day when the light was gorgeous. I had watched this rose and the one behind it for several days just waiting for the best moment. And I think I got it. On a tripod, I had my trusty old D-200, 60mm Nikkor Micro lens. I did not get the exposure, but I did open the file with CS-2 and made use of several Nik filters for the final effect.
I have a 12x12 On my flower wall and the red rose looks velvety. All the curves came together to make a gorgeous shot.
