This was taken in San Jose, CA residential area in May 2009. I was struck by its beautiful golden color and large bumble bee like body shape. I had the camera in my hand, so I quickly tripped the shutter while it was busy feeding. Canon EOS 40D, Canon 60mm Macro lens at f/8, 1/350 sec. ISO 400.
