One night coming home from work I glanced over to my right at sunset and noticed a unique cloud. I pulled in a parking lot over looking the Boeing plant in Everett, WA. It was a massive uplift of wind currents above the plant and with the ice crystals in the clouds and a little filtering I was able to get several pictures. It lasted about 8 minutes and it was gone.
I used a Nikon D60 with a Nikon 18-55 lens F8, 1/60 sec.
