After a depressing attempt to find a beautiful landscape shot after the draining of Willow Lake, everything was dried up, crispy lake bottom, my son pointed out a golf ball resting on the nasty stuff. I finally saw a shot that might have made the trip worthwhile after all. I went down on my stomach and got close with an ultra wide angle to catch the very unusual view this golf ball had. By staying close and eliminating all but the ball and lake bottom, the claustrophobic view provides some drama and wonder.
