A storm was moving in as sunrise started to light up the landscape. This lone tree was under dark clouds, which made it really stand out. I converted this to monochrome in Aperture and added a red filter, which really made the tree pop. Final adjustments were done in LR CC. Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, 24-105mm lens, tripod, polarizer. Settings: f13, 8 Sec, ISO 100.
