snow is rare in charlotte, north carolina, and so when we got a good snowfall this past winter, i ventured down to the railyard in hopes of finding a few interesting images. i saw this graffiti'd railcar, with virgin snow all around it, and framed it up with the city skyline in the background. i wasn't actually that far from the city center, but @ 24mm and framing the railcar the way i did, made the city appear much farther off in the distance than it actually was. the image was adjusted in lightroom and converted to a b&w duotone in Nix Silver efex pro.
