This image was taken about 15 minutes before sunrise at a high altitude lake in Northern Colorado. The water level in the lake had risen after intense rain and the two tree trunks - usually on the edge of the water - were now reaching out of the lake like two fingers into the cold morning air. I actually like the fact that there were small ripples on the seemingly black water. I made slight adjustments including converting to B&W and then Bleach Bypass in Lightroom.
