Nothing beats street photography when in New York City. Visiting NY, I asked the owner of this trim shop for permission to photograph inside the store and they gladly agreed. The last image I made there was on my way out when I noticed an employee taking a moment of rest and quiet while silently staring out the large plate glass front window. I marveled at the beautiful soft indirect light as it contrasted with the vivid array of colors of their vast inventory.
That day I was shooting with a loaner Nikon P7000, 1/30th, f2.8, ISO 100, at a 35mm focal length equivalent of 28mm.
Very minor tweaks in Photoshop to contrast and vibrance.
