Toucan Rumble

A major fight broke out in the trees outside my lodge room in Costa Rica while on a photo expedition - two toucans posturing on a tree branch, dancing around each other and then clacking beaks together like swords, the noise echoing in the trees. The toucan on the right finally opened his beak and clamped down on the other's beak, pinning him down for over a minute. When they broke up, the aggressor flew away with the other rapidly following. I was fortunate that I had my tripod and camera set up on my balcony early that morning - ready for anything that could happen. This was an exceptional interaction!
