All day long, an autumn storm had been rolling through Southern Maine, bringing dark clouds and rain and alternating with beautiful, golden sunshine.
I kept thinking, "I need to get out there and capture this!" and the sun kept going behind banks of cloud.
Finally, an hour before sunset, it began to clear out and the light got even more golden, so I grabbed my camera and chased it out to a nearby town, where I found these three trees alone in a farmer's field just before sunset.
I used a Pentax K3II, and the Pentax DA 16-85mm lens to capture this image at f/8, ISO 100.
