Living with my mother in Elizabeth, Colorado I became accustom to seeing mule deer all of the time. There were three main herds that I would follow as well as two herds of pronghorns. This day as the sun was setting I spotted this herd lying in a rancher's field, in the setting sun, enjoying the remainder of a beautiful winter day. The dilapidated barn in the background added to the splendor of the photograph.
