This photograph is a self-portrait I took while doing some experimenting in my "home studio". I set up a black cloth over the closet door and utilized two speed lights, one shot through an umbrella as my key light and one shot through a grid to rim light the hat. I was attempting to get a dark and moody picture that would fit the film noir theme. The photo was taken with a Nikon Df with Nikkor 85 mm lens at 1/125th sec, f/10, ISO 1600. Black and white conversion was done with Alien Skin Exposure 7.
