A Gorilla mother and her baby share a tender moment in the Brookfield zoo. Gorillas are devoted and attentive parents to their young and this behavior can be readily observed in the zoo's Tropic World exhibit. With no glass or bars and close proximity to the animals, excellent photo opportunities are available with a short or medium telephoto lens. The low light levels require higher ISO settings and fast, image-stabilized lenses are useful.
