These colorful sewing notions were shot with a Nikon D750 and a Nikkor 70-300mm lens. With this image I kept the composition simple, using spools of thread in bright tones to create a colorful image of an otherwise mundane subject. The items in the photo may not be all that interesting in and of themselves, but grouped together, with the red background, they make a very colorful display.
