This shot was taken at Long Sands in York Beach, Maine as hurricane Hermine traveled up the east coast. The surfer looks very pleased with himself as he finishes his day of surfing in the rough waters. I had to crop the photo in post and wished I'd had a longer zoom lens on my camera that day to capture some closer shots. Shot with a Nikon D3200 and a Tamron 18-270mm lens.
