Ed Taube of Phoenix Arizona was out near the Superstition Mountains to photograph wildflowers the afternoon of March 20th. A thunderstorm passed through and ended just before sunset. This image was taken of the afterglow with a Canon 7D and a EF-S 10-22 F/3.5-4.5 lens and a 2.5 second shutter speed at f/18 and ISO 400. The blooming yellow Brittlebush in the foreground rich, warm light on the mountains after the sunset, and the darkening sky provided a beautiful range of colors.
