I was all revved up to take photos of the November 13, 2016 Supermoon when I went outside to set-up my gear. Instead of a Supermoon greeting me all I saw were clouds in the sky hiding the moon. I sat there gazing at my misfortune when I noticed a hole opening in the clouds. I hurriedly set up my equipment and captured this shot with the clouds still around the moon but not in front of it. Moonlight and the black background of the sky produced the colors you see. The colors were not visible to my eye but upon saturating in Photoshop was able to capture these colors.
