The sky was threatening but the light was so so. However, I was hoping that there would be a break in the clouds. My patience was rewarded and then the heavens opened up and a dramatic scene ensued. I framed the shot so that the sky would have prominence given its dramatic impact. I used a Nikon D 7100 with a Nikkor Zoom lens (18-200 mm.) and a Cokin 3 step Neutral Density Filter. All were attached to a Gitzo Tripod and Arca-Swiss Head. The ISO was 200, F/16, 1/5th second exposure, and a focal length of 35 mm.
