This one tree stood out to me amongst the sun setting. The whole setting seemed to be so fitting and work so well. Usually I try not to center my subject, but I felt it necessary here. This was taken in Cades Cove which is where European settlers arrived in in the early 1820s. Cades Cove became part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park In 1945 and designated Cades Cove as a "historical area" and restored several of the older log cabins and barns.
