The sun was rising at the golden hour on the Palouse. The colors change in dramatic fashion in a matter of seconds. The camera clicks and I don't know what I may have captured until I get home. But looking at the sky, I saw the beauty that only at that moment existed and its particular will never occur in the same way again. The gear was a Nikon D610 with a Nikor 28-300mm lens at 62mm. 1/40 sec f/5 ISO 400.
Regardless of the outcome, what a great experience. Climbing up to Steptoe Butte in the early morning with some friends and experiencing the morning was exhilarating and will remain in my memory as a unique experience.
