The New Found Gap is one of my favorite places to go and capture a sunrise in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I had gotten up around 4 am to make it here to get set up, I was hoping for a colorful sunrise because the last 4 trips here were pretty plain and void of color, and usually it is so foggy you can't get a shot here of the sun rising. I ended up getting a beautiful and colorful sunrise and came away with some great captures.
